Sticky Soy Sauce Beef Bowls

Sticky Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp shaoxing cooking wine
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
Beef Bowl
- ½ tbsp peanut oil
- 1 brown onion- finely diced
- 3 garlic cloves- minced
- 2 cm ginger- minced
- 500 g lean beef mince
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
- ¼ cup sliced spring onions/scallions
Optional Vegetables to Serve
- cauliflower rice
- carrots- julienned
- radish- finely sliced
- green beans- sautéed
- cucumber- sliced
- coriander- leaves picked
Combine all of the sauce ingredients in a small jar. Shake to combine.
Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the diced onions and fry for 3-4 minutes. Add the garlic and ginger and fry for a minute
Add the beef and break it down with a wooden spoon to ensure there are no clumps. Once the beef is evenly browned, pour in the sauce and stir until evenly combined
Simmer for 10 minutes or until the sauce has thickened. Add the sesame seeds and spring onions, and stir in to combine.
Spoon over cauliflower rice (or regular rice), and add any additional vegetables to your liking. Garnish with more sliced spring onions and coriander leaves
