Sticky Soy Sauce Beef Bowls
Beef mince cooked with a sweet and sticky soy sauce, serve with cauliflower rice and vegetables

Ingredients
Sticky Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp shaoxing cooking wine
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
Beef Bowl
- ½ tbsp peanut oil
- 1 brown onion- finely diced
- 3 garlic cloves- minced
- 2 cm ginger- minced
- 500 g lean beef mince
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
- ¼ cup sliced spring onions/scallions
Optional Vegetables to Serve
- cauliflower rice
- carrots- julienned
- radish- finely sliced
- green beans- sautéed
- cucumber- sliced
- coriander- leaves picked
Instructions
- Combine all of the sauce ingredients in a small jar. Shake to combine.
- Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the diced onions and fry for 3-4 minutes. Add the garlic and ginger and fry for a minute
- Add the beef and break it down with a wooden spoon to ensure there are no clumps. Once the beef is evenly browned, pour in the sauce and stir until evenly combined
- Simmer for 10 minutes or until the sauce has thickened. Add the sesame seeds and spring onions, and stir in to combine.
- Spoon over cauliflower rice (or regular rice), and add any additional vegetables to your liking. Garnish with more sliced spring onions and coriander leaves
